Inspiring Minds Through Art & Creativity
Art-At-Home is about giving children and adults the confidence to explore their creativity, learn new skills and enjoy making art in a relaxed and supportive environment.
With personalised guidance and small groups, everyone has the opportunity to experiment, develop their own ideas and learn at a pace that works for them.
Hi, I’m Grace
Every journey begins with a spark, and for me, that spark was art.
Growing up, I was always drawn to creativity—whether through painting, drawing, or simply expressing myself in colourful and meaningful ways.
That passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, followed by a Postgraduate qualification in Art and Design Secondary Education.
Through these experiences, I learned that art is not just about technique, but about self-expression and the joy of discovery.
Helping Creativity Grow
My professional path began teaching secondary school students aged 11 to 18. I found immense joy in watching them discover their own artistic voices.
I encouraged them to experiment, learn new techniques and, most importantly, believe in themselves and their ability to create.
I also led workshops for primary school children, seeing first-hand how powerful art can be in helping children build confidence and find their voice from a young age.
Becoming a mother deepened my understanding of something particularly important: every child is unique and everyone learns in their own way.
That experience strengthened my belief in teaching that adapts to the individual, creating an environment where children feel safe, supported and able to explore new skills at their own pace.
That’s When Art-At-Home Was Born
I wanted to bring the joy of learning and creating into the home, offering a welcoming and personal environment where children could explore art in a way that felt natural and fun.
I wanted somewhere they could learn without pressure, build confidence with new materials and techniques, and genuinely enjoy the process of creating.
Art-At-Home grew from that idea: small, supportive sessions where there is time to understand the individual, encourage curiosity and allow creativity to develop naturally.
Creativity Is for Everyone
Art-At-Home is more than somewhere to learn techniques. It’s a place to develop skills, discover artists from the past and present, experiment with ideas and create interesting artwork of your own.
Creativity doesn’t have to be about getting everything “right”. It can be about exploring, experimenting, building confidence and discovering what you enjoy.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the enjoyment and possibilities that creativity can bring.
